IMBRICS'25
On October 29–31, 2025, the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre in Saint Petersburg will host two significant events for international and industrial cooperation—the IMBRICS Forum and the XXIX International Forum and Exhibition "Russian Industrialist"—which will be held jointly at the same venue. This decision was made on May 21 at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs during a meeting of the Organising Committee.
The meeting was attended by Alexander Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs; Vasily Osmakov, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation; Kirill Polyakov, Vice Governor of Saint Petersburg; Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow; as well as other representatives of government bodies and the business community.
The "Russian Industrialist" traditionally brings together prominent figures from government and business, members of the Russian Government, the Federation Council of Russia, industry ministries and agencies, as well as leaders of the country's major industrial enterprises. In 2025, the event will take on special significance as it coincides with the 120th anniversary of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The IMBRICS Forum will significantly enhance the international dimension of the event by facilitating the participation of municipal and business representatives from BRICS nations and friendly states. Delegates from over 70 countries are expected to attend. The joint hosting of the forums will create a unified platform for discussing pressing issues in industrial development and municipal governance, while also fostering new business connections between Russian and international participants.
Together, these events will form a unique platform for collaboration among federal and regional government officials, municipal leaders, industrial enterprises, and international experts. The merging of these two prestigious forums opens up new opportunities for professional dialogue, the exchange of best practices, and the implementation of joint projects in industry and municipal infrastructure development.
