From finance to philosophy of space: the sessions of the conference on the cities of the future have been revealed
The Organising Committee of the conference "Cities and Towns in the Modern Era: Emerging Methodologies, Resolutions, and Proven Examples. Creating a Comfortable Space That Develops Society as a Whole" publishes a list of sessions. The event will take place on January 30, 2026, at the Civic Chamber of Russia (7, Miusskaya pl.), beginning at 10:00.
Welcome speeches from the organisers will be delivered by:
Sergey Butorin, Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Housing, Construction and Roads of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation;
Ekaterina Zueva, Head of the Project Department at the Foundation for International Business Communications;
Valery Kazeikin, Chairman of the Management Board of the Association of Market Participants in Low-rise and Individual Housing Construction.
The conference will be organised around five key thematic sessions. The programme will open with a discussion on "Financial efficiency and control in construction". Next, the participants will attend the following sessions: "Innovations in building materials and technologies"; "New philosophy of public spaces and landscaping"; "Small town development: from survival to prosperity"; "Construction market: from requests to solutions. Green construction, expertise, collaborations."
The conference is intended to become a platform for consolidating the efforts of government, business, the expert community, and citizens in order to develop practical solutions to create a comfortable environment.
