As part of the AIM Congress, the delegation of the International Municipal BRICS Forum held a series of negotiations with international partners. The agenda of the meetings included a presentation of the upcoming IMBRICS Forum in October 2025, which will be held in Saint Petersburg, Russia, with the support of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Government of Moscow, the Government of Saint Petersburg, the Moscow City Duma, the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government, and the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Foreign delegates were introduced to the main tracks of the business programme, including the Partner Country, Partner Region, and Partner City blocks, as well as the platform for partner projects. One of the key events was the presentation of the Forum to representatives of Qatar’s Ministry of Municipality, during which prospects for cooperation in urban development and investment were discussed. Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to send an official invitation to the Qatari delegation to participate in the IMBRICS Forum in October.
The Annual Investment Meeting (AIM Congress) is dedicated to advancing the future of global investments and their impact on industry, setting the direction for new investment trends. This year, the event was attended by over 20,000 delegates from 180 countries.
The mission of the IMBRICS Forum is to create a universal platform for discussing sustainable urban development, sharing best practices, and establishing new partnerships. Participation in the AIM Congress helped strengthen collaboration with key international players and showcase the investment potential of BRICS cities.
