On May 23, the second meeting of the IMBRICS Forum Organising Committee was held at the Moscow City Hall at Tverskaya St., 13.
Chairman of the Organising Committee, Adviser-Mentor to the Mayor of Moscow Leonid Tyagachev made a welcoming speech and marked dynamic course of the preparation for the Forum. Further, the architecture and vectors of the business programme of the upcoming Forum were presented and approved at the meeting, as well as tasks to ensure an adequate level of hospitality within the framework of the IMBRICS Forum.
Sergey Cheremin, Deputy Chairman of the Organising Committee, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of the City of Moscow, spoke about the preparations for the IMBRICS Forum: "The architecture of the Forum's business programme has already been approved and the main parameters have been determined. We also agreed on the list of invited foreign delegations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and set quotas for Forum participants. It was decided to complete the invitation campaign by May 31."
Representatives of various departments made speeches at the meeting, including Chairman of the Moscow City Duma Alexey Shaposhnikov;Member of the Government of Saint Petersburg, Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of Saint Petersburg Evgeny Grigoriev; President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Platonov, and others.
The IMBRICS Forum website and a mobile application for participants were also presented at the meeting, which will contain information about the sessions of the business programme, the speakers of the Forum, as well as about the halls and additional venues on the territory of the Forum.
