IMBRICS FORUM 2024
The IMBRICS Forum took place on August 27-28, 2024, at the "Expocentre" Central Exhibition Complex in Moscow, Russia. The Forum became one of the largest international events within the framework of the Action Plan of the Russian Federation's 2024 Chairmanship in the BRICS, approved by the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, where issues of municipal cooperation, digitalisation, sustainable development and innovation in urban management were discussed.
The Forum was organised with the support of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation; Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation; Roscongress Foundation, the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; Moscow City Duma; Government of Saint Petersburg; All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government; Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation; and Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Government of Moscow acted as the General Partner of the Forum.
The IMBRICS Forum 2024 was mentioned in the text of the Kazan Declaration of the XVI BRICS Summit (paragraph 128).

Final business programme
Over 70 events were held at the Forum site, including panel discussions, round tables, field-specific sessions, a grand opening, a plenary session, and a closing ceremony. The business programme was attended by moderators, speakers, presenters and experts, totalling over 680 people.
